Lector 85 is a contemporary multifamily community located in the heart of Tampa’s historic Ybor City. The design draws inspiration from the neighborhood’s cultural legacy—particularly the tradition of the “lector,” a figure who once read aloud to cigar factory workers—infusing the project with a narrative of storytelling and community. The architecture balances modern urban living with contextual sensitivity, featuring clean lines, open-concept layouts, and expansive glazing that invites natural light into each residence. ​
